The swarming is the reproductive act of the beehive organism. The old queen leaves the mother hive along with a significant number of bees, who carry within their bodies the amount of honey needed to sustain the process. The swarm's honey supply provides the initial energy to develop a new organism and quickly build the honeycombs, giving the already fertilized old queen the chance to lay eggs as soon as possible. From the eggs, new worker bees will be born, that is, the workforce.
You may hear a deafening buzzing produced by many insects coming from a coming and going inside a shutter or outside your walls, you look out to see what is making so much noise and you realize you have a multitude of flying and buzzing insects. These are the bees that are swarming, at this point it is necessary to proceed with the removal of the bee swarm.
Every year with the arrival of spring, beekeepers have to face what is called the "May sickness." During this period, some bee colonies that make up the hives carry out the so-called "bee swarming," that is, the partial or total abandonment of the hive.
We at Ecopiakos, always attentive to the protection of the environment and beneficial insects, have obtained the beekeeper's certificate, therefore we are authorized to capture bees by removing the swarm, or bee nest, taking it into custody.
Once the bee swarm is collected, it is placed inside a special hive, to later transport it to a suitable place for building the hive.

We have the proper authorization to remove beehives from walls and then transport them elsewhere; we have specialized masons for sealing holes or dismantling roofs to locate and collect them. We are also qualified to work at height on aerial platforms if the nests are located at 20/30 or 50 meters.
